NIN.jpgA recent post by Trent Reznor at NIN.com suggests the front-man plans to significantly scale back the amount of touring the band will do in the foreseeable future. Reznor says of his current tour, "This was an amazing tour and production - certainly the best thing I've ever been involved with and likely the final tour for NIN on this scale." Of future touring he says, "The shows we have announced in 2009 and any more that may be announced will be a completely different approach with some different personnel and will likely be the last for the foreseeable future."

It is unclear as to whether this announcement signals a slowdown in NIN as an entire project, or simply from the touring aspect. NIN has been known in the past to tour extensively, and is one of the few bands whom are willing and able to fill both club venues and arenas alike.

Speculation about the band's future includes the possibility of Reznor focusing more attention on other bands and projects. Reznor is credited in part for jump-starting a variety of artists' careers including Marilyn Manson and Saul Williams. A weathered eye will be kept for updates on this story.
CombiDemonds.jpgCombichrist fans have been waiting in anticipation since the release of Frost EP: Sent to Destroy earlier this year for news of a potential new tour and album from the band. That news has come with the announcement of the band fourth full-length release; Today We Are All Demons. The band has also announced tour dates all across the US and beyond. The current incarnation of the live band includes front man Andy Laplegua on vocals, Joe Letz and Kourtney Klein on drums and percussion, and z_marr and Mr. Petersen on keys.

The band has also released a video of their latest single "Sent to Destroy". The video is viewable on both MySpace and Vampire Freaks, and the song is available on Frost EP, and is also to be released on Today We Are All Demons. A preview of Demons is available on MySpace, which includes clips from songs from the upcoming album. Today We Are All Demons is scheduled to be released January 20th, 2009, and can be pre-ordered on isotank.com.
